The annual Sarasota County Tax Certificate Sale was held online June 2nd. Shortly after the sale is closed and reconciled, county-held certificates (certificates that were not bought at the sale) will be available to purchase online at an interest rate of 18% per year. Check this page updates.

June installment bills for the first quarterly installment of 2025 taxes were sent in late May. If you pay your taxes by this method and have not received your tax bill, access your account online. You will be able to print a receipt immediately after payment is complete. If you are interested in paying your taxes in four quarterly payments, unfortunately, it is too late to sign up for the 2025 tax year, and you will receive the annual tax bill in November. However, once you receive your 2025 tax bill, you can sign-up to pay your 2026 taxes by installment. For more information, click here.
