Question 1. Why is the ITB being rebid?
Answer 1. There was confusion amongst vendors as to the scope of the project and the eligibility of vendors.
Question 2. Is the ITB considering add-ons to Sarasota County’s platform?
Answer 2. The ITB is for a standalone platform for use by the Tax Collector, a different entity than Sarasota County. However, if a vendor wishes to provide add-on level pricing, it will be considered.
Question 3. Does a vendor need to have a government contract a/k/a a “piggyback” contract to bid?
Answer 3. No. This is a fresh procurement and a previous contract is not necessary to bid.
