Online Appointment Scheduling

Residency Requirement - Serving Sarasota County Only
Appointments or walk-in service will be provided to Sarasota County residents, businesses, seasonal residents, and those establishing residency only. This change will enable us to more efficiently serve the residents of Sarasota County. If you live outside of Sarasota County, please visit your local Tax Collector.

Appointments are recommended for all services and required for the Road or Written Test, Concealed Weapon License, and any service in the North Port Office.

Are you a Sarasota County Resident or Sarasota County Dealer?

Select the appropriate service(s) and click next.
You may schedule one appointment per day to complete two transactions. Any subsequent appointment cannot be scheduled until your current appointment has been completed or canceled. Walk-ins are not accepted, and you must continue to use the drop box for batches with more than two transactions.

Note: This appointment is not for a Driving Skills Road Test.

If you are obtaining a Florida driver’s license or ID Card for the first time, have one without a star on the upper right corner, or if you have a star but your information has changed, be sure to visit www.flhsmv.gov/driver-licenses-id-cards/what-to-bring to ensure you have the required documents.

Two proofs of residential address may be required. These printed, physical documents will need to be brought to your appointment. Please click here and review section 3 for what to print and bring.
